The Crabby Crier
In addition to advertising on the web all guests receive our newsletter every month, The Crabby Crier, a very popular newsletter that keeps all of our guests up-to-date on news from the beach, as well as any specials we may be offering. Keeping your place in front of guests month after month creates a loyal following to your house.
No Linen Pool
We do not have a linen pool. We use only 400-thread count sheets. The first two turns are paid for by the owner, and after that they are replaced only on an as-needed basis. Damaged linen or towels are covered by the insurance policy.
Managed Reservations
18% management and 15% for month-long or winter guests; 15% if you choose to book your own reservations and have us manage during the guests stay.
VacaLayAway
We also offer VacaLayAway as an added incentive to book early and make a longer vacation affordable for our guests. It works just like layaway did when we were kids: guests put down a deposit and pay a little every month till next year’s vacation is paid for.
SeaStar Vacations
SeaStar Vacations was founded by owners of rental property in the Florida panhandle. SeaStar Vacations discovered that while many people were taking advantage of web reservation systems, they also wanted a wide range of other services. As owners ourselves, we saw a need to develop a system that was more economical to manage our rental units. By creating SeaStar Vacations, we can now streamline the reservation process, control maintenance costs and provide other services owners need to maximize profits. - Management rates are 18%
- Security Deposit Insurance (protecting you from damage by guests up to 800.00)
- Keyless Entry (Oracode 660k, no more lost key fees or late check in problems)
- Owners have access to software for bookings/reservations
- Unit care kits, kept on site, to replace light bulbs, batteries and A/C filters which avoids unnecessary charges for maintenance.
- State and County tax preparation
- SeaStar Vacations is able to purchase top quality linens (450tc K/Q) and bath towels at a tremendous discount.
- SeaStar Vacations rents exclusively to adults over 21.
- Cleaning services scheduled for you
- Set up costs for all services SeaStar Vacations offers owners can be made in installments if desired.
